How to Choose Your Forma Pieces
Start with your shelf's dimensions. Measure length, width, and depth before you shop. A shelf under 6 feet wide typically fits one chaise and a side table comfortably. Anything larger can support a full chaise-and-chair pairing.
Check your water depth. Forma's in-pool pieces are designed for standard sun shelf depths, generally 4 to 9 inches. Confirm your pool's actual depth against each product's spec tab before ordering. Too shallow or too deep and the furniture won't sit right.
Decide on the finish. All current Forma pieces come in white, a color chosen to reflect heat and stay cool underfoot even on the hottest days.
Think about flow, not just fit. Leave enough clearance between pieces for someone to walk the shelf without stepping over furniture. As a rule of thumb, keep at least 18 inches of open water between chairs.
