Volunteering with the Coral Restoration Foundation

One of the most fulfilling aspects of our sustainability journey has been our work with the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF), a nonprofit dedicated to restoring coral reefs and ensuring the health of our oceans. In 2023, members of the AquaBlu Mosaics team had the opportunity to volunteer directly with CRF, participating in coral tree maintenance and reef outplanting in the Florida Keys.

Coral reefs are critical to marine ecosystems, yet they are under severe threat from climate change, pollution, and human activity. According to the NOAA, coral reefs support more than 25% of all marine species but are rapidly declining. CRF’s innovative methods, like coral farming and outplanting, are helping rebuild these vital underwater structures.

Our hands-on experience with CRF not only deepened our commitment but also reminded us how interconnected our products are with nature’s wonders. Read more about our experience here.
